York Computer Repair is a single walk-in shop, not a chain of branches. Everything happens on one bench at 2069 Carlisle Rd, York, PA 17408, which sits on the Carlisle Road corridor northwest of the city. That location is the reason the surrounding boroughs and townships can use us the way you would use a neighbourhood shop: drop the machine off, get a phone call from the technician who actually opened it, pick it up.

Wherever you start, the terms are identical. We are a Windows-only shop: laptops and desktops running Windows 10 and 11, from every mainstream brand plus custom-built towers. We do not service Apple hardware or Chromebooks and we do not repair standalone monitors, though a laptop's built-in screen is everyday work.
The standard diagnostic is $39.99, or $99 for gaming PCs, which have to be run under sustained load before anything honest can be said about them. That fee is a separate charge for the work of finding the fault — it is not credited toward the repair. We do not publish repair prices, because the truthful number depends on your specific machine; you get the exact part, the exact labour and a realistic turnaround before any paid work starts. Data recovery is the exception: that assessment is free.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome during those hours; calling ahead on 717-739-9675 just means a technician is expecting you.
