Finding the shop from anywhere in Shiloh
We are on Carlisle Road (PA-74), the road that runs the length of the Shiloh area and continues north toward Dover and Dillsburg. Coming from the Route 30 side, take the Carlisle Road exit and head north - the shop is on the corridor a short distance up. Coming from the north end of Shiloh, just follow Carlisle Road south. There is no Route 30 merge to fight and no downtown York parking to hunt for.
There is off-street parking at the shop, which matters more than it sounds like it does: a lot of computer repair ends up being a desktop tower, a monitor, a keyboard and a bag of cables, and carrying that from a metered street space is nobody's idea of a good afternoon. What it costs to find out what is wrong
The standard diagnostic is $39.99. Gaming PCs are $99, because bench-testing a gaming rig means loading the GPU and the CPU and watching thermals over time rather than running a quick pass. That fee covers the work of figuring out what is actually broken, and it is a separate charge - it is not credited toward the repair.
We do not post repair prices on this website, and we are not being cagey about it. The honest quote depends on the specific machine: the same symptom on two different laptops can be a ten-minute fix on one and a board-level job on the other. After the diagnostic you get the exact part, the exact labor, and a realistic turnaround, in plain language, before any paid work starts. If the repair is not worth it on your machine, we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The one exception is data recovery: the assessment there is free. If a drive has died and you need to know whether the files are still reachable, bring it in and we will tell you before any money changes hands.
